The Corvette C6.R is set to make its racing debut in the American LeMans Series event August 6-8, 2009 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The next-generation C6.R is based on the Corvette ZR1 supercar's body design, aerodynamics, aluminum frame and chassis structure, steering system, windshield, and other components.
